we stayed in a double shared bathroom, but the good thing is its self contained units with two rooms so the most people you will ever share with is 2 others. We stayed in the deluxe cabins: it was nice to have 2 private rooms. The location is great: some of the other reviews were whining about the distance to town, but that was not an issue for us. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers. This hostel is not located near Airlie Beach - there are a lot of hostels (which are cheaper and nicer!) located right in Airlie Beach, this is at least a 15minute journey to Airlie Beach. Very nice, clean and spacious cottages. Good beds, aircondition, helpful staff, free bus to the city several times a day (or a beatiful walk on the water side), supermarket nearby. Would stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone. Best hostel I've ever seen. more
