Big area to relax. Enjoyed the verandah at the back and cup of tea on arrival. Comfortable room. Great, leisurely breakfast with interesting conversation with accomplished hosts but had the feeling that if you didn't like that they would pick up on it and you could be quiet if you wanted to be. Catered to gluten intolerance. Recommend it.

A pleasant restful place to come 'home' too after skiing and leaving the snow in the afternoon. Allison and her husband offer the best of country hospitable in a place worthy of 4 stars in the city. They could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Ellstanmor is certainly a good reason to travel to Cooma again or visit on... More

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment. We had 4 adults and 2 kids, it was a great price for this number of people. Nice and warm with plenty of heaters. Cosy cottage feel, with lots of home feel touches. Free Wifi so we could keep in touch with home, and allowed us to leave this review on our departure:).... More

The hosts at Ellstanmor have created a wonderful B & B in Cooma and made us feel entirely at home. By the time we left we felt like old friends of the family. The house is full of character (and no, this isn't a euphemism for 'run-down') and is a delight to explore. Breakfast is great, and the espresso is... More

We stayed here on the way to Perisher Valley and I was very pleased with our choice. It was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. It's a beautiful home that's been renovated by the couple that run the place, David and Elle. They were so nice and welcoming. They make you feel like your visiting relatives. The only 2 things I... Whilst travelling back to Cooma for a weekend with some old mates I found this B&B. I lived in Cooma a long time ago and It was an old dingy house. Now its a real nice renovated and smartly decorated Home with B&B style accomodation. The coffee is great and the breakfast easy and casual. I had a small room... More

Our family had the most enjoyable and relaxing few days in Cooma staying as guests with the hosts, Elaine and David, at Ellstanmor Guest House, with walking distance to the centre of the delightful town Cooma. We plan to go again soon as we were made so welcome with a wonderful breakfast and dinner as well. The house has much... More

I recently went back to Cooma for a weekend and again stayed at Ellstanmor Country Guesthouse. We stayed there in winter and where there on a theme weekend. The owners had put on a weekend of Edwardian respite, and all guests where invited to be invilved , it was brilliant. My recent trip was more rellaxed and subdued. I was... More
