My wife, grandson and I stayed in this motel after a snow holiday at Perisher. It is well located near town centre, but is old and appears to be a relic of the Snowy Mountains Hydro Scheme post WW2. We had a Queen bed, and a single, but there was no luggage bench, no chair, no table, no robe, no hanging space for clothes, not even a hook on the wall. With all baggage on the floor, you couldn't move around, and we basically ended up with cabin fever confined in such a small space. The bathroom was original from the 50's and tiles were buckling off the shower wall, and the towel rail was about to fall off the wall. The local authority's building and health departments should make a thorough inspection of this motel. Thank goodness we only had to stay here one night. It's okay for travellers wanting a bed to and from the snow, but don't take any kids. more
