We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Sam our host was brilliant. The rooms were excellent. They had a fridge, jug, crockery, cutlery, closet to pack your clothes in, the shower was lovely. There is a kitchenette and laundry that everyone in the lodge uses. We only had toast etc. Mainly went out for lunch and tea. We found basic food items ie, milk, bread etc was quite expensive eating out was cheaper and easier. There are alot of eatery's in Randwick you have a selection to pick. The accomodation was affordable to cater for five families from 10yrs-21yrs as well as the parents.

Also there is a pub just around the corner. We had drinks and bistro. Randwick shopping centre just five minutes walk. Public transport was excellent, just sus out the bus routes. I know 377 to Sydney City. If your staying for a week or more grab a bus ticket it is cheaper. Ask the host where you can purchase the bus tickets.
