Really good holiday accomodation for those with young children. Outstanding views with several whales thrown in for good measure. We had a short but wonderful break (4 nights) at Hillhaven. The rooms were large, well equipped, clean, comfortable and spacious and from the large balcony we had the most beautiful views of the ocean and the coast stretching towards Surfer's. The Hillhaven has captured our hearts! This quaint block of holiday units has that lovely surfy, coastal feel lost in many modern day developments. We live in Mlebourne and were getting married at Burleigh Heads. We stayed in one of the gold delux appartments in the days before the wedding. Wonderful welcome by young receptionist - couldn't have been more helpful. Car park ridiculously small (almost impossible to get in and out of!!) Room 25 was lovely - all the mod cons, comfy bed - great TV system (although spoilt by uncomfortable lounge suite). The four-star holiday apartment makes you a real big man. The apartments provide you a breathtaking view from plain room, no air conditioning, no change sheets for 2 weeks, but you must realize how we are spoiled by civilized daily life. Hillhaven is hard to beat - we definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else on the Gold Coast. It has the perfect location at the end of a quiet, no exit street, right next to the headland bush reserve.
