Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Bar and restaurant service and food were all good. We are retired so ambience suited us but would be too quiet for those looking for 'resort' happenings. A reasonable walk to the beach - would be a minus for some but it means it's quiet and secluded. more
the leaking loo was the most positive part of our stay. the room was filthy and surrounded by renovations jack hammers and tile dust made it impossible to have a conversation in the room we asked to be moved . but i want to know WHY we were put in this derelict room in the first place so very disappointed... more
I was very disappointed to read your comments. As an older style of property we realise the need to refurbish and update our roms and facitilites for our guests. A program has commenced to allow this to occur. Unfortunately there is seldom a "good" time to do this and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience experienced, we really are working...
Out 3 night stay in the Boomerang wing overlooking a tropical garden,a lake & restaurant offering a fine menu.the accommodation included 2 Queen-size beds and quite a large bathroom with a spa.All at a reasonable rate.We found thestaff friendly & very helpful. more

Just returned from a family stay at Oasis although the location was ok for getting into Caloundra (5 minute drive) we had a horrific smell under the fridge and were amazed to find a decomposing rat! Although it was removed when we spoke to reception it had obviously been there for several weeks as it was literally moving with maggots!... more
I was extremely disappointed to read your comments, our reviews have never had such comments. I know our Hotel is of an age and does require some work which is currently being undertaken, We also keep a daily log of any guest comments/concerns during each day, I have reviewed these over the last few months, without any reference to similar...
The hotel is very tired. The place hasn't been renovated since it was built at least 25 or more years ago. We had a room with a bedroom and a sofabed. Had our seventh stay at the resort which we find just ideal and perfect. It is quiet and a place where you can relax starting with breakfast on the deck next to the lagoon.
