Spent the weekend out of the rat rate in beautiful Clare Valley. Did not have a booking but managed to get a room at the Clare Country Club for 2 nights in a newly refurbed room. 40 inch LCD's are great and the beds really comfy. I recently went to the newly refurbished Clare Country Club with friends for the weekend. The room was a good size. Queen size bed, lounge, table & chairs, balcony with table & chairs. Nice size bathroom with a spa bath. The restaurant had lovely food. You could have room service. Outdoor pool, sauna, billiard room, tennis courts. Some of the front desk staff weren't very friendly. more
