Our family was pleasantly pleased when we went in to the room. It was much larger than I thought it might be, and it was comfortable (though we can't say how comfortable for a long stay... we were there one night). we just went to kangaroo island on the 23rd Nov 2007. Was booked in at the wisteria lodge. It took 10mins for a grumpy woman to come to the reception desk. Received our rooms. They were very neat and clean and comfortable. Spa and swimming pool did not work and was not heated, staff didn't know how to do anything... more

I stayed here for one night as part of a two-day Kangaroo Island tour. The motel is dated - the decor is brick, the walls are thin, and the air-conditioning badly needs replacing. Each motel room has a very noisy air-conditioning unit, so even if you don't turn your unit on, you can certainly be kept awake by the neighbour.... more
