This place had the best views from the room of all the places we stayed in Oz, and we stayed in a few! The restaurant was excellent and Chris himself is a delight. If you need a place for relaxation this is the place for you. We loved it. more

We stayed one night in Chris's while on the Great Ocean Road. Views are spectacular, overlooking the sea. Some of the rooms were very small. Beacon Point is in Skenes Creek, which is about 6km out of Apollo Bay, so unless someone's willing to drive you have to eat in the restaurant. Beautiful location, restaurant and villas, but what a disaster of a stay. Toilet would not flush, heat would not work, and no one there to assist. Once restaurant shut down for the evening, we had no one to assist, and sleep was interrupted by shivers and, yes, running water from the toilet. Stayed in a 2 bed villa and the views were amazing. The villa itself is well equipped and although not particularly luxurious, has everything you need (the bathroom is very well fitted).
