We stayed here one night as we had a wedding nearby and Carmen, the host was fantastic. Made you feel right at home and made a lovely breakfast in the morning. The house is huge and the room was very spacious, we had our own bathroom. The actual house dates back to the late 1800's I think and has quite... More

A lovely spot in Colac. Close to town and the botanic gardens but also very quiet. Beautiful historic building and rooms. We stayed in room with ensuite but I think other rooms have shared bathrooms. Our room much smaller than others but lovely big bathroom with deep tub made up for it. Friendly host welcomes you into her kitchen rather... More

We spent one night here when we were going back to Melbourne after visiting the great ocean road. It's a good place to stay. The house is historical but well keep. The room is fine and tidy. And the most important thing is the friendly hostess Carmen who make us feel just like at our home. Carmen, this is to thank... More

We arranged our stay at Elms late in the afternoon and Carmon had our room ready for us when we arrived. Carmon and her friendly canine companion Brandy greated us warmly. Carmon kindly showed us around her beautiful home and provided some helpful local knowledge on the surrounding town of Colac. Walking around the lake and botanical gardens is beautiful.... More

We arrived quite late with our little one and were welcomed and made to feel at home. The room was lovely, well kept and very comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Carmen the hostess was a lovely woman and was happy to chat and show us around the house. I will definitely be returning here if... More

Lovely old property and a warm welcome from the owner Carmen and her little dog Brandy - Carmen was slighty tired and frazzled on our arrival but still managed to make us a lovely cup of tea, show us around the house and make us feel very much at home. Our smallish double room was beautifully decorated and presented, with... More

Wow! what a wonderful place to stay. We were late and tired when we arrived and were welcomed so warmly. Carmen was a treasure making sure we were warm relaxed and comfortable. Our room was cozy (it was winter) and had all that we needed. The breakfast was scrumptious, plentiful, and generous including hot and cold foods. Carmen truly makes... More

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay at 'The Elms' for just one night. Our room had a large adjoining bathroom and was very comfortable. The owner, Carmen made us feel very welcome and provided a great home cooked breakfast along with fruit juice and a variety of cereals. We would not hesitate to visit again when next in... More
