My husband and I stayed at Quest Oceanic in a two bedroom apartment for four nights with our two year old and 10 week old children. The placed seemed a little tired and was decked out with very cheap fittings etc. The main bedroom had a queen bed and the second room had two singles, which was perfect for us.... more

My Girlfriend and i recently stayed at Quest Phillip Island on one of there packages. We found the room to be extremely spacious, clean and modern. The guy on the front desk was extremely helpful with the local attractions and recomended a great restaurant which was walking distance from the hotel. We had a great weekend and would highly recomend... more

My friends and i decided to have a quiet girls weekend away at Phillip Island, we're all responsible 21 year old females who are in full time work or full time study and we go away often together and have never had any problems. I tell you this because i thought you should know the background information that relates to... more

We are American expats living in Australia for a few years. We decided our first "holiday" would be on Phillip Island so we could see the famed Penguin Parade and koalas. We were pleasantly surprised at Quest. The apartment was clean and well laid-out. The decor was updated but the permanent fixtures (think bathroom tile) could use a spruce-up. Nevertheless,... more

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor. Room was very spacious. It has floorboards in kitchen and dining and lounge areas which means its automatically going to be cleaner than a hotel room that has carpet everywhere. The bed linen was clean (no hairs or stains!). Carpets could have been slightly more vacuumed but not a... more

Stayed here for just one night. On checking in someone was complaining to the receptionist about silver-fish being found in her son's bed!. Our apartment was clean enough, albeit very basic. Window in lounge permanantly open as frame was completely rusted up, so had difficulty with air conditioning. We were on the third floor, stairwells were dirty and smelly. This was... more

We would like to respond the silverfish situation was dealt with immediately. I believe this guest did not have 'silverfish' in her bed. This is the first time the Quest apartments have been described as basic. All have large sliding doors leading onto a balcony not one rusty window (again our windows are not rusty). The communal stairwell is mopped...

The Quest Philip Island is a double, three-rise (and somewhat non-descript) block of serviced apartments, in a quiet residential area on the edge of Cowes. The nearest supermarket was a five minute walk, the main 'stretch' of bars and restaurants about 10. My wife and I stayed here for one night in mid-October, 2006. The reception area is a small,... more
