Hotel is located beutifully but it is really run down with 1970's deco, very ordinary furnishings, there was not what we expected lloking on internet site, everything what was already included in price (champagne, chocolates, beer, food voucher) we had to ask for. I booked this place because it said "absolute waterfront' on their website and Wotif. Being across the road from the water is NOT absolute waterfront. We recently stay at The Continental Hotel and were blown away by the location and the staff who were truly fantastic right from receptionist through to the housekeepers who serviced our room daily. A complimentary drink on arrival is a nice touch. They even organised a trip out to seal rocks and to the penguin parade. Nothing is too much... more

All i can say is their website WAAAAAAAAAY overstates this accomodation... tiny concrete balconies, access via very weathered old steps.. their star rating is WRONG; this is 2 star at best.
