We only stayed one night with our baby (5 month old) and it was good. Nice lady on reception very informative and helpful and offered to change our room to 1st floor instead of 2nd so we didn't have to carry everything up with the baby as no lift. The location is just as you drive into Lorne from Torquay... more

I recently stayed here with my partner and we were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the owners (Terry & Angela). We had driven from Melbourne after work so didn't arrive until 8pm but as soon as we arrived, we were greated as though we had known them for years. Angela even ran ahead to put our heater on! The room... more

We recently stayed here on a getaway to the Great Ocean Road. We did not want to spend heaps as there is such a variety of accomodation and the reviews on here were great. Our first experience was with Angela before we arrived. We were getting in at 2am and they were happy witn this and even had the room... more

This is standard Motel style accomodation, that I used while exploring the Great Ocean Road. Lorne is a great place to stop, as it offers a good choice of cafes and restaurants. The host was extremely pleasant and made sure I knew exactly where I was heading on my travels. You could order a continental breakfast the night before, as... more

The Best Western in Lorne is a really nice, friendly, clean hotel. Terry and Angela, the owners welcomed us on arrival as I went mad with excitement at the Kookaburras, rosellas and cockatoos on the wall in their yard! The room was spotless and a lot of thought had gone into making it comfortable from the decor itself to the... more

We arrived in Lorne during our honeymoon roadtrip. Not having booked any hotels in advance, we checked out the Best Western. We were pleasantly surprised when they had rooms available for AUD 99. (I think the rates in high season may well be over AUD 200!) The room itself looked like a four star hotel room and was very clean.... more

We phoned ahead in the morning and we had no problems. The room was clean and the bathroom large. Everything worked and the kitchenette was amply supplied. There was a very noisy group with wild children but they settled down by bedtime. Owner was aware of this and kept an eye on the noise! Would recommend a stay here! more
