The hotel is a period piece with modern updates and the room was large and comfortable with high celings. The staff is friendly and helpful - the morning clerk delightedly explained the history of the hotel and offered suggestions to us for sightseeing day trips. Our stay at the Grand Pacific was fantastic. Room was spacious and very comfortable with great views across the bay. The meal in the restaurant was of a very high standard .
