Stayed in small house owned by YHA located across the street from the hostel. It is a pretty rustic no frills place, but was a good price and offered a spacious place where we could cook our own meals and relax for a few days, and still be walking distance to restaurants and shops in town. As a backpacker I have stayed in some really basic hostels, however, the Pemberton YHA is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in! We were put in a double room in the cottage over the road and to be fair, the room and bed linen was clean and we were even provided with towels which is unusual... more
