The resort accomodation consists of townhouses with two bedrooms upstairs and living areas downstairs. Great location to the river etc but unfortunately that is where the pluses end.

Ah the perils of choosing a place based on pictures seen on the internet. The resort feels really old and tired. Carpets felt grotty and I felt like I needed to wash my feet after having walked on them a while. Generally everything was just a little tired and could do with a good clean.

Kitchen was well stocked with utensils but the threat of a fine for not cleaning up afterwards (and specifically that all rubbish should be put out as well) was a little off-putting.

Swimming pools were advertised as being heated to 30C but the temp felt a lot lower than that. Kids mainly resorted to playing in the spa which was warmer but then one day the spa itself quit working and was really cool too.

Overall, probably ok value for money but only if you get a really good deal on... more
