I have been in Australia for three months now and this was truely the best hostel experience that I have encounted. Clean and friendly is how they market this hostel and that is true to form. the yha was full so we decided to stay here. terrible decision. the location was rubbish and the rooms were dirty and i was bitten by bed bugs. we reported the bed bugs but they did not appear concerned. dont stay here!! more

This place smells. Got a private double room and it was filthy, smelly, just plain horrible. My girlfriend and I slept with our clothes on as we didn't want to touch anything. Very nice. Clean, affordable and in a good location, plus the added surprise of a fancy restaurant tacked onto the front of the hostel, we only had one night here as we were travelling on, yet for about $40 we had a very nice meal, and got reasonably drunk, which is always a bonus.......plus there was this Irish girl working... more
