Stayed for a week at the Jagdhaus Monzabon Hotel last week (last week in Feb 09). Had a large lovely room. The best part was the food - absolutely spectacular 5 course meal every night. Excellent service by friendly English speaking staff. Small pool, good sauna steam room etc. Very convenient for skiing and virtually ski in , ski out.... more

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel Monzabon. It felt like the family was welcoming us in their home: when our daughter was disappointed that she couldn't swim bcs we 4got her floaties, the owner went around town himself looking for floaties, and got a set for her! This was just about the only 4 star hotel in Lech we could find that would take a weekend booking at the end of January, but it really exceeded our expectations. The key points of strength are the location (slope side location close to the main chair lift) are friendliness of staff - all of whom spoke very good English... more

The Monzabon is a great hotel. It’s not chic and glitzy and the decor is “cosy Austrian”, rather than cutting edge contemporary, but it’s comfortable and welcoming in a delightfully old-fashioned way. I just read the last review and had to comment. We stayed at the Monzabon for Christmas and New Year. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a mistake. Our room had not been decorated since the 70's green carpet and orange curtains. The bathroom even had a plastic washing line to hang up your damp ski... more

This is the closest hotel in Lech to the ski lifts. It's just a 2 minute shuffle from the hotel. This is a massive plus point in any skiing hotel. The hotel has it's own ice skating rink which is free to hotel guests. It also has a swimming pool and a sauna. All rooms get a ski locker which... more
