We stayed in the Hotel Montfort for 6 nights in January 2008, and we were extremely pleased with our stay there. It is a very friendly, cosy 4-star hotel in Lech...classy but unpretentious. Markus, Sonja, and their staff were extremely accomodating to our needs from the start, including picking us up from the train station at Langen. We were the only family (with 2 young children) staying at the hotel during our visit (most of the clientele were older couples), but the the staff of the Montfort went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and to cater to the needs of our children, including serving our dinner earlier than other guests (to allow our children a normal bedtime), and substituting portions of the meal that were maybe too "exotic" for children.

Our room was not huge, but it was comfortable and well-decorated, and suitable enough for a family of 4. The Montfort is located in a quiet part of Lech, behind the church, and very conveniently located... more
