Our main reason for staying here was the restaurant Dieter Muller. Unfortunately both the hotel and the restaurant did not impress. Yes, the food is wonderful, but what would you expect from a 3 star restaurant. But it never impressed. It’s just good, nothing more, nothing less. Adding to the other comment, this is a really nice hotel in a beautiful old castle (Schloss in German). Slight correction to the other review, the hotel actually is located in Bensberg (the reason for the name) which, while officially part of Bergisch Gladbach, has its' own charming city center eight kilometers (five miles) from the Bergisch Gladbach city center.... more
