Spend 5 days at Negroponte Resort, and really enjoyed it. I was traveling with several family members, and had driven there from Athens. The resort is quite beautiful, nice pool, Beautiful lobby area, right on the beach, but the beach was very poor, rocky, very little sand, getting in and out of the water you had to walk on rocks.... more

Very good hotel with a lot of amenities and very good service. Very big and sunny rooms. It also has an indoor heated swimming pool. But all these do not compensate for its surprisingly expensive price. The Negroponte is a lovely hotel, well maintained. HUGE bedroom, complete with fireplace, fluffy bathrobe and slippers! Great food, with an excellent buffet dinner and tempting array of desserts!
