I stayed in this B&B for mini break with single friends. I would not call it a B&B by the U.S. definition. It's simply a small hotel in the same building where the owners have an apartment. The location is excellent, but of course Lampedusa is tiny, so everything is convenient. The rooms are large, and the furniture is basic. I got a single room, and the bed was comfortable. There were no armoires or closets, just a bar for hanging clothes and a small bedside table. No TV, telephone, or AC. The bathroom also basic, with a shower drain in the middle of the floor, but no shower stall to catch the water. The breakfast is included for free, but poor quality. Plus, with all the lovely pastries available at nearby bars, it doesn't really add value for the hotel to offer free packaged "fette biscotate" or Corn Flakes and American-style coffee. The common areas are nice, with a large roof-top terrace that faces Lampedusa's Porto Vecchio. I would recommend this hotel to... more
