Spent two weeks at Vilar do Golf with our three children (13, 7 & 2) and had an enjoyable, relaxing stay. We had vila 162 which has yet to be upgraded, however it was clean and well kept and we had no complaints. Just returned last night. The place has recently updated and replaced much furniture and decorations. Original art hung on the villa walls. Very private and serene. Very clean and safe. Only complaint is you definitely need to hire a car. The resort offers day and half-day trips that were great, but it's either eat in they famous Bobby Jones restaurant... more
