This was our favorite parador - a recently renovated convent close to the old city of Cuenca, which you can access by a foot bridge with incredible views. The rooms was nice, but the common rooms (cloisters) are nicer. Tip: visit the ciudad encantada, the stone forest 20 km north! more

This is one of the better Paradors in my opinion. Rooms are bigger than normal and good view of old Cuenca. On the other hand, for a 4 star hotel it has very few facilities. Cuenca is a beautiful place, although not as 'polished' and 'spruced-up' as some more touristy destinations. The Cathedral audio, self-guided tour is very good..
