We had a pleasant stay at the Lazy Parrot last year and particularly liked the hotel's policy that guests were asked to sign a statement that they agreed to observe an after 11:00PM quiet period. The night we got there was weekly reggae night at the bar which obviously is managed separately from hotel - the noise vibrated the walls until about 11:20. Great hotel, remote location, lovely pool and restaurant. The only thing I'd say is that there were a few too many young gringos hanging around acting slightly sophmoric and grooving with their MP3s.
