I went here looking for a romantic relaxing vacation away from the expensive, crowded, touristy locations. This bed and breakfast is perfect. There are only a few rooms, so it's not crowded, but despite its small size it has very friendly and efficient service. The location is perfect, as it is not on the beach strip of rincon that is... more

The hotel has an excellent location for surfing, short walk down to Tamboo, a great Tapas restaurant, nice pool, everything really is fantastic, however, based on the proximity to the sea (i.e. extremely close) their well water is brackish. THERE IS NO FRESH WATER. You must supply your own drinking water for brushing your teeth and deal with salt water... more

My wife & i stayed here in April 2008. The service was very frendly. We arrived early morining. Luckily our room was available & they they let us get into our room well before check in time. The beach view from the hotel is magnificent. Looks right out of a travel brosure! The beach is ideal for surfing - mid... more

My brother and I stayed for a week in early April. We were in Room 104. We loved it-if we could find a way to stay forever, we probably would. I use a wheelchair, so we needed a room that is accessible to wheelchair. Room 104 faces the ocean, with a beautiful view. We didn't spend much time in our... more

Great setting and nice tapas restaurant but watch out for room 104. This room has no ventilation -the pool level windows are sealed. There is neither a window or fan in the bathroom. The airconditioning combined with the strong antiseptic cleaning agent made the room dark, damp and smelling just like the kind of miami vacation we came here to... more

We loved it - and we're going back! I read a few negative reviews and got nervous before my trip. Those other reviewers don't know what they are talking about. This place is beautiful. Nice little pool right next to the ocean, the restaurant is great, and the bar is a great place to grab a drink and relax before... more

We chose this place for the second half of our "mini-moon" and we ended our trip leaving the hotel and finding a new one! Unless you're on a serious budget, do not stay here. The room was such a disappointment. The sheets and towels are old and worn, the bed is horrible and there is CONSTANT moisture in the room... more

Casa Isleña Inns’ cancelation and early check-out policy is clearly stated on the confirmation letters and web site. When a guest wants to leave early; the full amount of the stay is charged; however if we are able to rent the room a refund is made for the nights re-booked. This is in line with small inns in the area....

Stayed at Casa Islena in Rincon, PR for 3 nights. The property is located on the beach which makes it a great location. It is a converted home that has about 8 rooms or so and it has a small pool and a Tapas restaraunt/bar. So here are the positives: The location is perfect. There is ample parking so it... more

We stayed for 5 nights. Found the staff pretty pleasant and helpful. Rooms were spotless despite our getting them absolutely filthy every night. We even managed to lock ourselves out on Mother's day and they sent someone down in less than 5 minutes. Best thing about this place is the beach. Just something to be said about waking up and... more

We stayed at Casa Islena for 4 days, 3 nights (April 26-29,2007), from the moment we arrived we loved the place right away! It's a huge house & we felt like we were personal guests. The room is very clean & spacious. The service was excellent. We love the restaurant! They serve really good food, tuna ceviche was divine! Everything... more
