This hotel is located 3-4 km from Ronda surrounded by mountains. This place is ideal if you want to experience the nature, luxury and peaceful stay away from usual city life. I do not want to call this as a hotel, as it is much more than a hotel, like a home. The owner Maria is very kind and helpful.... more

We had a huge room with lovely views, everything feels immaculate; very clean and tidy. Maria who runs and owns the place couldn't have been more charming or more helpful and efficient. Good sized swimming pool and good breakfast every morning. Good size fridge in the room meant we were able to buy things for ourselves on those days when... more

Visually La Cazalla is a delight. Everything looks fabulous. We stayed in the cottage in the grounds and really appreciated the privacy and opportunity to look after ourselves. We still saw other guests at breakfast, where there was scope for casual conversation about the day's plans and where one had been so far. There's plenty to do in the area... more

Staying at this property was one of the highlights of our vacation. If you are interested in exterior and interior home design and like spending time in an idyllic setting then this is the place for you. For us, staying at La Cazalla added a separate and very satisfying aspect to our visit to Ronda. We are still talking about... more

If peace, tranquility and a relaxing haven are what you are looking for, then I highly recommend La Cazalla. Breathtaking scenery, total peace and seclusion, no TV's, no phone signal (!), no passing traffic, and on most occasions - the pool to yourself! This is the perfect place to unwind or grab some peace and quiet and a switch of... more

This place has the potential to be amazing - but is rather spoilt by the somewhat uptight atmosphere. The write up describes it as a 'private house' and this is the key to unlocking why it doesn't work. It is a house not a home. Maria has obviously spent a good deal of time and money on setting this place... more

My husband and I stayed at La Cazalla for 7 nights and had a wonderful holiday. We loved the silence in the mornings, the view of the mountains and the warmth of the Maria and Rodrigo (the owners). We ate 4 nights at the hotel and the food was superb. Most of the meals were healthy - if not organic,... more

La Cazalla is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It is not the grandest, or the largest, or the most luxurious but it is a absolutely perfect. We stayed for two weeks and Maria and her son gave us impeccable service, warmth and welcoming. In fact, we spent several days just relaxing at the property with... more

The location of this very small hotel is fantastic, as previously mentioned it's quite remote, at the bottom of a rural valley (but walkable to Ronda, about 45minutes). I agree with all the previous reviewers - I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who was a nervous driver or looking for convenience or full service. That said, we spent a... more

A gem of a place, hidden away at the bottom of a valley down a dirt track with the most wonderful hostess, Maria, waiting to show you round her home when you get to the bottom. (HINT! keep following the blue blobs of paint and have the courage to keep going when you think you must have gone wrong). La... more
