We were a bit hesitant about booking the Villa Conti because of the lack of reviews. It LOOKED like a nice property, and the prices were much better than the other nice hotels in town, so we went for it. I'm glad we did, because it was a true hidden gem. We stayed at the Hotel Villa Conti for 2 nights, October 25-27, 2009. Word of warning about Cesky Krumlov in general - finding any hotel is difficult by car even with a map because of the small, winding roads which do not have street signs. We stayed in Cesky-Krumlov just for one night. The Villa Conti was beautiful inside and the staff was very nice and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the hotel (we were driving from Prague) and ended up parking and walking into town. If you drive, make sure you have a small car! Getting to the hotel is no problem... more

Exellent location and Value--go for a suite--it was worth it. Very charming and central to all, yet on a quiet side street. Large room and bath. Romantic with antique furnishings; staff accommodating. more
