Stell yourself against resistance of staff. Building is gorgeous (nevertheless standing there for hundreds of years...), furnishing is atempt to look old, although too many styles and kitchy. You really don't make 5* hotel experience by equiping the rooms with oldish looking wooden furniture and nicely hand painted shutters, dressing up the staff into Middle Ages clothes and use the carpets that my grandma has at home all over the hotel. Great location in a town that deserves a look if you can see past the throngs of people that visit here. Our room was tiny and the wax figures in costume in the lobby and the multiple depictions of Jesus were a little off-putting. We had a very nice meal in the hotel restaurant one evening. More
