Firstly the location is great, the staff were helpful and at less than 1,000 czk per erson per night, its pretty cheap. But the rooms are extremely basic, they don't feel clean (possibly partially down to the extremely dated decor), the beds are uncomfortable and the batch room, in room 4 certainly, is extremely basic, lacking even a shower curtain... more

We had originally booked with this pension but two days before we were to arrive, I got a call that there was a problem with our room. I had a hard time making this booking in the first place as it was a long weekend in the Czech Republic, so I wasn’t happy about the cancellation. They did offer accommodation... more

We made the mistake booking another pension prior to our trip, the Na Louzi. It was depressing--you can see my comments on their page in TripAdvisor. After one not-very-comfortable night there we moved two doors away to the Pension Vltava. The Vlutava room was MUCH bigger, brighter, cleaner and the bathroom (which had been dingy at Na Louzi) was heaven.... more
