Stayed at the Central in June, 2004. Had a nice deluxe double with a great view. Price was reasonable. Service was minimal, for example, as we arrived we walked up to the front door with our bags, and the doorman/bellman was sitting on the curb and did not even bother to get up! Breakfast was plentiful but low quality, especially the coffee. We had our laundry done by the hotel, and it came back damp and overly perfumed, so we had to have it redone elsewhere.
