We went to the Savoy Westend for the Easter holidays. Hotel rooms are very good, the gardens and beautiful, the spa and the public areas of the buildings are fantastic. The food in the dining room was ghastly and ridiculously expensive -- 30 Euro for a so-called "menu,", straight off the steam table, wh. included gooey slabs of not-so-freshly roasted lamb, a pile of overcooked black-colored spinach -- the other choice, odd-looking oval shaped "hamburgers" breaded and fried of mystery meat. We went to the Savoy Westend already back in 2006. It was the first time we went to Karlovy Vary/Karlsbad and we would definitely go there again because we found it much nicer than the Pupp which we went to take a look at.
