Prague Lion Hostel has a wonderful position: it's close to Moldava River, the Dancing House, the Opera House, Tesco and just 10 minutes walking from Old Square and from the Castle. Hostel location is only 5 minutes from metro station but in a small back street. Unfortunately, we arrived at night time and got lost even we had instructions. So it would be better for hostel to give instruction in enlarged vicinity map instead of text. But we were fortunately to meet a nice young Czech who brought us to hostel.... more

Great hostel, close to metro stops, supermarkets and restaurants. Staff were soooo friendly and lovely. Shared bathrooms were very clean (very rare) and our room, although small was lovely and homely. Would definitely stay again. more

Three of us paid $26 each (through hostels.com) for a huge room with attached kitchen (fridge, microwave, non-working stove, cutlery, some dishes and dining table).
