This is a great hotel to stay at if "value-for-money" is a criteria for your travelling. It is on the outskirts of the city centre in a slightly seedy side of town but it takes 30 mins to walk to Wenceslas Sq and 50 mins to walk to the Castle. There are lots of interesting bars and restuarants around you... more

We really enjoyed our stay in Prague, all the staff at the gloria were fantastic help and very friendly. We will be booking again, location a bit far out but the tram service is just up the road.The Gloria is very clean and rooms are a good size, the pillows are just the best !! and the breakfast was lovely.... more

With the exception of one "lurch"-like receptionist, all staff were very attentive and helpful. The reception staff had very helpful paper slips with directions to various places and even 5% discount at an already very good value eatery just over the road (main courses are the prices of starters in the city centre!!). Was booked in a party of four for 2 rooms but was told on arrival that they only had only one room available.The hotel had been overbooked which appears to be a problem with this particular hotel chain.(City partner group) I did not see the point in creating a scene as they would not have turfed people out of another... more

We booked a triple room and it was modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable! The hotel staff were very friendly and it was a good price too! It was a 15 walk to the nearest metro station and slightly out of the town centre but worth it if you are on a budget and dont mind the walk. Definitely would... more

We had never been to prague but got an excellent deal for hotel gloria on the internet, superb value. It is located a good 15 minute walk from the city centre and its in an area with casinos and 24 hour gambling facilities, still the area is fairly safe. the hotel itself is small but gorgeous, our room was fantastic.... more
