Hotel was lovely - quaint, romantic, atmospheric. Staff very friendly and efficient. BUT - and it's a big one - you are strongly advised to use the safety deposit box. There is obviously a "light fingered" problem here amongst those who have access to the rooms. Unfortunately, in my case, I should have thought to lock away my duty free perfume in the safe, because it went missing on our last day. Expensive, unopened and ready to give to my daughter for Christmas, it was obviously too much of a temptation for someone. It was in a duty free bag with other things, so I didn't discover the loss until I got home. I called the hotel who were polite but unhelpful. They took my email address and promised to investigate and get back to me - nothing! This left a sour taste in my mouth after a lovely trip to beautiful Prague. Shame, because I cannot pick fault with the hotel in any other way, but I won't be returning. more
