This hotel was truly lovely. Its on Kampa island at the bottom of Petrin and a very short stroll from Charles Bridge, it was warm, welcoming and extreamly friendly more

I had booked through the internet several months in advance, and was informed upon arrival that the room as booked was "not available". So got stuck in a small wedge-shaped room without air conditioning, which by 24°C weather forced me to open the windows and put up with the noise in the street -- drunkards, dustbins, late guests -- in... more

Nice hotel, nice location only 5 minutes from Charles bridge (through Kampa park). Good breakfast and friendly hotel staff. Only complait would be that there is no AC in the rooms so you have to leave windows open - and youngsters full of beer, leaving bar opposite the hotel can be very loud and annoying... But, that was only minor... more

They did charge taxes that were already included in the invoices. They cherged 40 euro for a 15 min phone call to france!!! Internet is very expensive and not easy to use (you have to pay directly at the reception desk) The personal was very rude . In any case, pay attention to teh conversion euro-Kor. they will away try... more

If you do stay there, make sure you do not book half-board. For the evening meal, there is only a choice of 3 set menus (although if you complain, you may be offered what the chef is cooking for one of the nightly parties whcih always seem to be in the main dining hall.) However, on our 2nd night, having... more

Location is quite good, but better options are available in Mala Strana as well as across the river. Rooms could do with upgrading, don't expect much too much service. Definitely overpriced. more

We never used a cab during our 8 day stay from this hotel we walked everywhere. Used private airport shuttle to and from airport. This hotel is very clean nice and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and... more

Loaction not as good as mentioned 20 minutes to town. Clean room with closets. Breakfast quite fresh and good selection of fruits, meats, cereal and that great strawberry marmelade. Free internet in the business center would have been a real bonus. We would probably stay somewhere else closer to center of the city, this was not convenient for the casual... more

Definitely not a 4 star hotel but rather clean and comfortable. Room we stayed in was small. The staff is very friendly. There is a restaurant on the first floor and as it was said in the previous review there was substantional noise 2 evenings out of our 7 night stay from parties downstairs. The breakfast was good. Big plus... more

Best Western Hotel Kampa, Prague: We stayed for only our final night, and were looking just for a reasonable place to stay. It’s located in Mala Strana, which is across the Charles Bridge from Old Town. Contrary to the impression I got from the Frommer’s guide, it’s quite a bit out of the way—a good 15-20 minute walk from the... more
