i stayed at hotel diplomat in october 2009 for a business trip. it was close to the city center via the metro so if you want to say at the center of old prague, it is a bit far away. it is very convenient to the airport bus-stops in front of the hotel and take about 15-20 minutes. the room... more

I stayed here with my husband for two night.We got a bus 119 the airport and I pay 60 CZK at the driver (apeox.2 euro).The room it was on the 6th floor, very clean and spacious.Has a big breakfast buffet , very varied but the restaurant it was very very congested.I change money a hotel.Good rate of exchange. more
Super easy to get to if you're connecting from other cities in the Czech Republic. Booked a standard room & it was shabby. I stayed here with my boyfriend for two nights in August - Friday and Saturday. We got a taxi from the airport, cost 500K (about £20) - not worth it AT ALL - please please please make use of th fantastic airport bus service (got it on the way back) - costs less than a pound and stops right outside... more

We might not have front view of the castle from our room, but still was in a very nice and quiet location, on top of the metro station! Very clean and comfortable, with friendly and eager stuff! Had amenities even for the "pickiest" customer and was fully equipped! Very good value for the money we paid! I enjoyed my staying! more
Stayed at the Diplomat a couple of weeks ago, surprise anniversary present. Was a little anxious that it was just outside the city. The rooms were very nicely decorated. Very nice bathroom. It was a bit far from the city center. It was a long walk to get to the Charles Bridge. more
A big group of us stayed at this hotel for a conference and enjoyed our stay. The customer service needs a bit of improvement but there were some great staff that made up for others.
