This is the cheapest hotel I ever stayed in abroad but facilities and amenities are comparable with other hotels I stayed. You won't beleive that you can get a hotel (ofcourse bed and breakfast) in Europe - Czech - for this rate. When I booked it through internet based on reference from my friend, I did not have any confidence... more

I live a fairly rough and ready part of east London, so I wasn't unduly phased by the gritty area. However, dwellings - and certainly hotels - where I live have security precautions - cctv, window bars etc - and there was none of this at Kafka. My room was two floors up with an outside walkway which, so far... more

I was definitely scared to stay at this hotel after seeing some of the reviews. It's definitely not in the best quality neighborhood. I mean there are no Ritz Carlton's around but the neighborhood was ok. It's two buildings down from the Police Station so it's safer than the bad part of town. Going to your room there is a... more

Rating this place a 1 is very generous. We had asked for an accessible room as we were travelling with an infant, pram, and two oversized suitcases. After being dropped off in what appeared to be a red light district we finally found the reception area (the reception is across the street from the hotel). We were directed to a... more

I was afraid to stay in that hotel after seeing some reviews on this website. Not everybody may like this hotel, especially if you are a demanding tourist. Anyway, we had a great time in Prague and were not disappointed with this hotel. It's clean, a quiet place at night. (Not in the morning, we were unlucky, there were works... more

They have spent a fair amount of money doing up the rooms - new furniture and soft furnishings - since my last visit. Some of the carpets aren't nice to walk on (very scratchy!) but the rooms are clean. Some of the bathrooms need a little bit of TLC (wash hand basin nearly off the wall and showers not working... more

I went to four cities in 10 days- Budapest, Vienna, Prague and Munich, but this is the worst hotel we stayed. I mean, without air-conditioning is not a concern, as this is quite common in Prague, but the service is REAL BAD. First of all, the breakfast is bad. There is no any hot food, those breads are really hard... more

We booked hotel kafka via STA travel and it was very cheap (about £25 per room per night). From the airport we got the metro and bus there and walking towards it were getting worried by the area, which was a little downtrodden and graffitied. On entering the reception it smelt strongly of cigarettes and we were greeted by a... more

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I will try to explain why... I've made my reservation before reading a review saying that was dangerous to stay there. Unfortunately, I've read it just before starting my trip, so I've got really scared... My room was on a top floor (no elevator available), and at the end of... more

the hotel was okey, considering you only sleep there. we stayed across the street. the area however is sleasy. they asked always for money up-front. breakfast is fair. staff could not care less they seem indifferent but not unpolite. the check pubs ripp you off, taxi drivers do the same. don't like the country and go elsewhere in future. too... more
