Great hotel in a great location right on the charles bridge. Staff were great and explained everything to us before showing us our rooms which were all ready early. This was a bonus as we did arrive early. The double bed was two singles put together which really wasn’t a problem could do with having a big duvet though instead of two small ones. The room was great clean and lots of coffee and mini bar full, they also had a set of scales which was handy for the case. Could maybe have an iron in there probably could have asked but didn’t need one too much. Would definitely go back here again as the room staff and location is really great.

Hotel's Favourite
We have just returned from hotel Pod Vezi and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. ALL the staff, without exception, that we encountered were kind, helpful, courteous-couldn’t do anymore for us. The hotel is a beautiful old building central to explore Prague. Our room was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and serviced daily. There were nice touches such as chocolates, small bottle of Prosecco etc that appeared in our room as a surprise. We stayed bed and breakfast, breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The excellent customer service continued even when we returned home and emailed the hotel querying an issue we had with transport when travelling back to the airport-absolutely nothing to do with the hotel but they were happy to help. Our experience at Pod Vezi was a strong 10/10 and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel-even if just for the staff alone! Thank you Pod Vezi for your kindness and help whilst we were in Prague.

This is such a wonderful hotel in every way. The location is first class, just a few steps from Charles bridge. We had a deluxe room which was very spacious with a lovely sitting area. Huge comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The room had a minibar which was reasonably priced, robes and slippers and ample toiletries which were replaced daily. Also a coffee machine was provided. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fresh and varied every morning was different and they even had Prosecco if you fancied it. Staff were kind and very helpful. There used to be a beautiful roof terrace where you can take in the views and take your own refreshments (there is a small well stocked supermarket just opposite the hotel). We also ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was incredible. If we return to Prague again, we would not stay anywhere but here! Thank you to all at Pod Vezi.

What a superb hotel! Michael on reception greeted us with warmth, taking time to give us some advice about Prague, thankfully in fantastic English. We had a deluxe room which was exceptionally spacious with every conceivable facility. We looked onto Lesser Tower and the pretty streets in Lesser Town which was lovely. It is in a wonderful location right next to The Charles Bridge and handy for the Castle and Petrin Tower. The roof terrace is a lovely spot with views of the Castle. Breakfast was plentiful, good quality and varied. It was my husband’s 60th whilst we were there and at some point the staff left an ice bucket with a bottle of sparkling wine and a card. We were both delighted by such a thoughtful touch. We ate at the restaurant which was also superb. Neither of us could think of a single negative point about Pod Vezi. Thanks to all for a fabulous stay.

The hotel has everything you need for a fantastic holiday in Prague. Location, the hotel room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and one of biggest I've seen (2 large singles put together). We did have the largest room, a treat for my husbands birthday. Little treats were left each night, chocolate, a bottle of prosecco, and even a fridge magnet. There is a restaurant in the same building (we were in the main part of the hotel, and there is a separate block across the road). There was an excellent selection of food for breakfast, including prosecco for a Bucks fizz if you wanted. We had our evening meal there twice, which was gorgeous, I recommend the beef cheeks! I would certainly recommend excellent value for money.

We stayed for 4 nights, in a Deluxe room, situated in the main building attached to Reception and the restaurant. We loved it! At check-in the very helpful man recommended some places and restaurants to visit. He was very friendly. The location is perfect, right next to the Charles Bridge, and the hotel allowed free entry to climb up the Lesser Town Bridge Tower. The breakfast is buffet-style, everything is kept covered, and with tongs available for infection control. The star of breakfast for us was the waffle machine! Each morning, we made our own waffles. They provide instructions and the batter mix. There isn’t a massive selection, as is typical we’ve found with smaller hotels, but there is something to cater for most preferences. Never felt rushed at breakfast. The cleanliness was very good, in communal areas, the breakfast room (they were constantly checking everything by walking around the room), and also in our room. The domestic staff did a brilliant job each day and they also left a little treat each day, which is a lovely touch. The deluxe room we stayed in was spacious and had a separate shower cubicle and a large bath, with shower head also. The bath was perfect. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant (other than at breakfast each morning) so can’t comment on the food. The staff across the hotel are friendly and professional. I would recommend to stay here.

We arrived early at the hotel but our suite was ready which was a lovely surprise. The front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, especially the very tall man. Our suite was huge and very well appointed with a separate sitting room, which was lovely to have the computers etc out of the bedroom space. Bed super huge and super comfy, with soft big pillows. The bathroom was well appointed and clean fluffy towels every day plus facecloths and lots of products of good quality. Breakfast was similarly good, lots of choice and freshly made tea and coffee, full continental offerings plus cooked for those who wanted it. Prosecco was on offer every day, although we didn't have any. I would go back in a heartbeat to Pod Vezi.

I want to say Thanks to the friendly, helpful and well-organised Pod Vezi staff including Alesh and Jan. We had super-comfy, smart accommodation from this boutique set-up, staying in a brilliant location in a fun area of Prague. So pleased, how calm and quiet our nights were, and surprising as we were in the busy hub of the heritage district, right next to Charles Bridge. Even enjoyed a free trip up the Old Town Bridge Tower (great views) as a gift from the Hotel! Pod Vezi breakfast was perfect (great selection of fresh cakes, pastries, waffles, fruit, salad, eggs) and even Prosecco but I did not get onto that! Easy to walk to all the sights and we actually loved being in the separate building as this felt like a very good apartment. Would happily recommend this hotel.

Back today from a few days at this hotel, I chose it due to its reviews and the location and it ticked all the boxes!!, we were upgraded from our original booking which was lovely!, the room was spacious and clean and tidy, the view amazing!, and the beds super comfy. Breakfast had a good range on offer, from make your own waffle, cooked breakfast with different egg types, lovely fresh bread, and lots of little continental offerings!. The location couldn’t have been better, and you get a free ticket to go to the top of the tower by the hotel which was nice to add to some sightseeing! We were left little added extras in the room each day which was a lovely touch. The staff really make this hotel, they were all super friendly and helpful, and couldn’t do enough to make sure mine and my daughters stay had everything we needed, we can’t wait to return! Only thing I’d change (and it’s not the hotels fault!), is the bin men’s early morning noise in the street below!, I’m an early waker so it didn’t bother me, but my daughter was less then impressed at being awake at 6 every morning 🫣
