It's a wonderful hotel, not so far from the center - you can use a tram, very next to tha hotel. Big and clean rooms, nice decorations, a place to really enjoy your staying. I strongly recomend it. more

Hotel Kavalir is a very reasonably priced option for Prague, as long as you are happy to not be within walking distance of the more historic areas in the centre. A quiet hotel for sleeping in, having breakfast and nothing else. No lunch,dinner, bar or travellers cheque encashment services. Rooms clean, maid service every day, staff helpful, good English. It is noisy there because of the traffic, so we asked for a rear room, which they gave us. However, it was hot(and we are from the deep south and used to heat) but the window could not be left open because of safety concerns. The bed linens must be from the communist era.
