I stayed in this hotel for 5 days (4 nights) and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel has two types of rooms- standard and superior, and my girlfriend and I were in a superior room. The room was very clean, the furniture new. When we arrived, the heating was a bit weak, but when we asked the staff... more

I stayed at the Hotel Slavia in Prague for two nights in July 2007 as part of a Contiki tour all around Europe. I was really looking forward to seeing Prague, but everything seemed to go wrong for me once I was there. But most of all, it was the hotel that was the nightmare. The location was absolutely terrible-... more

I shared a triple room with my brother and husband. the room had 3 single beds, maybe one chair and a small table, The beds were divans rather than separate mattresses so you can guess what happened to the divans over time with there being insufficient seats for people to sit on. There was a big hollow on the side... more

I spent a week in early April at the Hotel Slavia and I found the hotel to be perfectly adequate. Considering the price per night, it was an extremely good value. The room was clean and the staff was very cordial. The breakfast was repetative--breads, ham, cheese, cereals, but good. While the hotel is located quite a distance from central... more

Stayed one night in the Hotel Slavia. Suited me perfectly as I was visiting a friend who lives in Prague 10 and I also had business meetings at Karlovo Namesti. It is typical of the Central European 3 star-hotels like you get in Austria. Pretty basic bedroom but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic but... more

With a large group of people we visited Prague and stayed in hotel Slavia. Before we left i read some reviews, some of which very positive others really negative, so i was a little bit worried. Once we arrived it all became perfectly clear! Hotel Slavia has 4 floors of which 3rd and 4th floor are relatively new. Rooms at... more

probably the worst hotel i've ever stayed at . To say it was basic was doing it a justice, it was like being in a concentration camp . The bathroom was grubby the curtains kept falling off the rail it was dull and dinghy and a warning - do not eat the meats on display at breakfast i was ill... more

Hello Everybody, I visited the city of Prague during the month of May 2008, and after having compared varying prices on the internet together with hotel reviews on various web sites including 'Tripadvisor,' I decided to stay at the Hotel Slavia located at Vladivostocka in the Prague10 area of the city for a ten night stay during May 2008, as... more

Location: This hotel is in Praha 10. The main tourist sights(Old Town, Charles Bridge, etc) are in Praha 1, and it takes about 25 minutes on the number 24 tram to get into town. This is a bit inconvenient if you go into the centre everyday and have to keep buying 75 minute travel cards (the hotel sells the travel... more

This is the worse hotel we've ever cast our eyes on, even as students we've never stayed in such a horrendous hotel. The toilet smelt, bed uncomfortable, no light in the hall, wet paint on the walls in the corridors. Not only is the hotel a complete nightmare, it is next to a football ground more than 20 minutes away... more
