Although the staff were quite friendly and accommodating (apart from one who worked on the night-shift and appeared to be on another planet), and the rooms were clean and comfortable enough, the dawn chorus from builders who insisted on banging and shoveling at daybreak from the hotel quadrangle was just too much. We have just returned from a 3 night stay here and it was lovely. The room was spacious and clean and we loved the big lounge area. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice. Position of the hotel was perfect just a ten min walk to the main attractions/square. Christmas markets were amazing. We would definately stay here again. More
