Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. Map was honest about how far the hotel is from the centre, and it is, indeed, some distance. This is not an ideal location, but at least made for some pleasant walks through various parks. However:

1. The room was advertised as a double. This was, most definitely, a twin room. This was most disappointing as we were away as a couple.
2. There was no kettle in the room. I would expect this (or at least /some/ access to water for tea/coffee from a hotel advertising itself as a 3 star.
3. The bed was uncomfortable and there were insufficient pillows.
4. No bath.
5. I had ordered a bottle of wine to be placed in the room on our arrival. Unfortunately the hotel's entire wine stock had been drunk the night before. The staff were most apologetic.

So although the staff were friendly and all was clean, I would not visit this hotel again. more
