I stayed at the hostel for four nights in July with three female friends in a 4 bed private room, using the shared shower and toilet facilities. All the facilities were modern and clean and our room had good furniture and the thin duvet/thick blanket bedding was appropriate for the temperature at that time. Breakfast wasn't gourmet, but it is... more

Overall, Hostel Elf was an adequate stay with friendly staff and at a good price. The building is very eclectic and cool, decorated with spray paint and full of twists and turns and small hang-out rooms tucked away. My sister and I shared a double room to ourselves that was small but fine. We had to sleep with the windows... more

Hostel Elf is a pretty pleasant place. The rooms are spacious, everyone gets a nice-sized locker in which to store valuables (bring your own lock), and the bathrooms are kept very, very clean. I am too old for hostels, but needed a deal in Prague, and Elf had a private room with bath for under $70/night. The room was large... more

Stayed here for two nights while in Europe on my spring break with my girlfriend. We had a great time! The hostel was clean, the staff helpful, and the rooms cheap. The common room had a very social feel and we met lots of interesting people. It was one of the highlights of our trip. more

I stayed at this hostel with 11 of my friends. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable - but BEWARE its in a very dodgy area. Before we even arrived at the hostel someone had had their wallet stolen. The street the hostel is in is kind of like a back alley of kings cross [for sydney siders] - all... more

I stayed in the Hostel Elf for 4 nights with 7 other friends during our first trip to Prague. It was in a great location - bus stop next to the entrance, short walk to the Metro, short walk to a tram and also 15-20 min walk into the city. We had a room to ourselves since there were 8... more

We were there in May. Absolutely loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, hostel is located near the train station and metro station ( ticket for a day costs 4€ for all the transport - you can buy it at the station). The biggest problem is the railway. The trains drive right under your window, so if you... more

It is located near the Florenc metro station, you've got two lines of metro at your disposal, but the hostel stays at 10 mins walk from the station. The railway station Nadrazi Holesovice is close, too, and there is a night tramway passing near the Husitská. This is a very cheap-clean-friendly hostel. I stayed in a twin room, not so... more

I liked my stay here, it was clean and I slept like a baby. They promised free wifi and breakfast, but the wifi never worked and the second morning they didn't have the full breakfast. Those are my only complaints! Other than that, the shower was very good and warm, and the staff was helpful. The location was OK; I... more
