We traveled in a group of four and had a 4-bed-dorm room without bathroom. The rate was just 12,30€ per person/night incl. breakfast. There is even a shared kitchen in the hall you can use to prepare your own breakfast, lunch or dinner. The shared and single bathrooms were very clean! I never saw this in any hostel before. The... more

The hostel is very cozy, with a lot of colours and funny/weird decoration here and there. Free internet, that's good! Kitchens for use, a bar at the reception and ok showers and toilets. The location was no good for me, it was creepy and far away! Walking from the old town centre at 10-11 o'clock at night was quite scary.... more

Firstly, there are NO directions on the website or brochure advising how to get to the hostel, instead it simply states We are located 5 mins from bus station and provides a really bad map of the area...our 5 mins turned into 45 mins of walking around at midnight in the dark and the rain in probably the most unsafe... more

I stayed at the hostel for four nights in July with three female friends in a 4 bed private room, using the shared shower and toilet facilities. All the facilities were modern and clean and our room had good furniture and the thin duvet/thick blanket bedding was appropriate for the temperature at that time. Breakfast wasn't gourmet, but it is... more

Overall, Hostel Elf was an adequate stay with friendly staff and at a good price. The building is very eclectic and cool, decorated with spray paint and full of twists and turns and small hang-out rooms tucked away. My sister and I shared a double room to ourselves that was small but fine. We had to sleep with the windows... more

Hostel Elf is a pretty pleasant place. The rooms are spacious, everyone gets a nice-sized locker in which to store valuables (bring your own lock), and the bathrooms are kept very, very clean. I am too old for hostels, but needed a deal in Prague, and Elf had a private room with bath for under $70/night. The room was large... more

Stayed here for two nights while in Europe on my spring break with my girlfriend. We had a great time! The hostel was clean, the staff helpful, and the rooms cheap. The common room had a very social feel and we met lots of interesting people. It was one of the highlights of our trip. more

I stayed at this hostel with 11 of my friends. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable - but BEWARE its in a very dodgy area. Before we even arrived at the hostel someone had had their wallet stolen. The street the hostel is in is kind of like a back alley of kings cross [for sydney siders] - all... more

I stayed in the Hostel Elf for 4 nights with 7 other friends during our first trip to Prague. It was in a great location - bus stop next to the entrance, short walk to the Metro, short walk to a tram and also 15-20 min walk into the city. We had a room to ourselves since there were 8... more
