The rooms were absolutely lovely, the only quibble I would have is that the duvets were a bit thin. The staff were absolutely fantastic - we were late to breakfast on the first morning (alarms set to English time, oops) and they were lovely about it and gave us our own breakfast in the foyer. Location wise, there's a tram... more

The rooms look really nice, but once we left we realized that there were bed bugs in the bed and we had bites all over us. It was the worst feeling ever. Not a pleasant way to spend the rest of your trip... more

Arrived late on the Saturday night tired and ready for bed. We were checked in by the very helpful Rudolf who gave us loads of useful info and maps, told us which buses to catch etc. We did have a problem when we got to our room as it was a twin and we had asked for a double. Unfortunately the... more

Dalimil Hotel Prague We stayed at the Dalimil Hotel in Prague in April 2008 a very quiet hotel 5 minutes tram ride from the old town. Rudolf the receptionist is a most friendly guy and as helpful as possible. Breakfast is basic, cereals, cold meats, eggs; sausage etc, but there is plenty to keep you going. The hotel is quite... more

Nice little hotel, however not situated in the best location. You will need to get a tram/bus to the metro station. I would suggest staying somewhere closer to a metro station, to save yourself time and hassle. Having said that the staff were extremely friendly, and breakfast was fine. The rooms were large and clean. If you do book this... more

I read some questionable reviews about this hotel and was a little apprehensive but the hotel turned out to be very quiet and comfortable. If you are looking for a luxury hotel experience this is not the place for you but if you want a comfortable room and a nice european style breakfast this hotel is very nice. Very close... more

My parents paid for this trip as a 21st Birthday present so I had no choice in where we were staying. I cannot comment on prices as Mum & Dad paid for this online but as far as I am aware they thought this reasonable. They both had picked this place as they stayed the previous year and loved it.... more

The hotel is attractive and cheaper than city centre hotels and the town centre IS easy to access by public transport, I bought a 7 day public transport pass. The nearest metro was 3 bustops away and the centre of the city 2-3 metro stops . The longest it took me from leaving the hotel to getting into the city... more

The hotel room was of acceptable quality, although the hotel was not as close to the centre as the web site seemed to suggest. The breakfast was plentiful and also quite acceptable. The hotel management advertised the room rate on the web site in Euros. However, when we paid with the swipe of our credit card, they entered an amount... more

The Hotel Dalimil is located in a seedy part of Prague, one block from "24-hour sex bazaars" and second-hand clothing stores. Two blocks away there were hostels advertising rates of 8 euros a night. The hotel is not near public transportation and a taxi to the central locations and tourist sites cost about $15 U.S. An auto body repair shop,... more
