Stayed in the hotel as a group of 10 for a stag do and the location was brilliant. The rooms are what you would expect and are surprisingly quite spacious. The staff were very helpful and all spoke English. It was disappointing that most of us had to share beds as they can describe a triple room as a double... more

My partner and I arrived late in the evening and were told there was complimentary tea & coffee in the breakfast room, nice touch we thought...Only on making said tea did we discover putrid milk on offer for the tea and told there was not a jot of milk in the hotel. The breakfast cereal was stored in large glass... more

If you want a no frills stay in Prague I reccommend this hotel! I have just spent 4 nights at this hotel and it was very good for a budget hotel. It is situated near the city centre about a 5-10 minute walk from Wencesles square. The rooms are modern and clean and a continental breakfast is included. The staff were... more

Hotel is close to the main attractions but that is where its good points end.... the street the hotle is on is dirty, noisy and not very well lit. The hotel is about the same, vary basic, very dark inside with ahrdly any lights on any of the stairs. The rooms are very bland, poor bed, poor quilts (and grubby),... more

I've just returned from a 2 night stay, having booked at the very last minute direct with the hotel, to travel with my two girlfriends who had booked this place through a travel company. Our room was on the 5th floor - interconnecting rooms (good space), ideal as a triple. The lift however only goes to the 4th ?? Up... more

Stayed at the San Marco Palace for four nights in July, along with my better half and two children, 8 and 10. Apart from the fact that three out of four beds fell apart when being used (which I McGyvered myself when housekeeping failed to do it), the hotel is pretty good. The location is excellent, about 5 minutes from... more

Location: About 250m south from the nearest Metro (I P Pavlova) and major tram line. Direct frequent (every 10min) trams to Charles bridge and the palace. Easy public bus journey from airport to Dejvicka metro, then metro to hotel (40mins, 28Cz). Hotel: Receptionists variable in friendliness, but helpful nonetheless. Sells tram / metro tickets (cash only). 1 (slow) internet connected... more

This is one of many hotels near the I.P. Pavlova subway station. It apparently was an apartment building which was converted to a hotel. Thus, my room was enormous, and its size (and the lack of wall decorations) made the room seem sparse. It had a double bed, large outdated velour sofa, and fairly nice Ikea-like light blonde Scandinavian furniture... more

We stayed at the San Marco Palace for 4 nights. The location was good for us, and we walked from there to almost all the sites we visited. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms seem to have been recently refurbished, and are spacious, light and airy, and reasonably clean. So too the bathrooms. However, the furniture is... more

Our first visit to Prague , all I can say is we will definately go back! We arrived late afternoon after braving the cedaz and then the metro , soo easy to use. We were met at the reception desk by a friendly helpful girl who seemed only too pleased for us to be there, not miserable or un helpful... more
