From the outside it didn't look all that sparkling due to being in a block of old grey buildings but inside the cleanliness was a really high standard. Breakfasts superb. Excellent location, trams, metro, buses right around the corner, even the Tabac shop for purchasing tickets. Forget about guided tours, do your own as its easy from here (and cheaper).... more

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Alton. A great little hotel that is absolutely spotless - clean towels every day. Breakfast good, staff excellent, great location. Recommend - prague zoo, the black theatre and pizza mezano at the top of Wesclesas Square. Would defo use again. more
