A pleasant enough Hotel, nothing spectacular, foyer has a hint of stale cigarette smoke. Reception staff excellent as are all the staff there.efficient, polite and very friendly. Amenities somewhat lacking. No restaurant,No Bar. A computer by reception to use for e mails etc but no business centre as such About a ten minute walk to the old square. Bring some sturdy... more

We loved the hotel, it was everything that the brochure described . The junior suite was fantastic, spotlessly clean and spacious with a well stocked mini bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely if a little expensive Location was fantastic our bedroom had a view onto the river and the Charles Bridge, with a short walk... more

I stayed here in mid-November 2008, expecting something rather compact because of the central location. I was wrong. There is space and tranquillity on a grand, even palacial scale. But just outside the front door is the centre of Prague, a stone's throw from the Carlos bridge. The hotel courtyards are part of the beautiful architecture which make this part... more

An exceptional hotel, well placed with the most friendly staff who can't do enough for the guests. The rooms are spacious and individual, and the four poster bed was very, very comfortable. I hope to stay there whenever we are doing shows in Prague as it made the whole trip a memorable occasion. more

Superb location and view. You can access everything. Great rooms, large, lots of windows, nice kitchenette. I just wish the lobby were refurbished, and the ladies at the front desk were more consistently nice (one super nice the other, well, a bit like many people in Prague, be it taxi drivers, waitresses, museum ladies (beware, I am sure some of... more

Dear valued guest, Thank you for your valuable feedback and I am sorry to read you do not like our Lobby. We are presently dealing with the preservation office to develop a new lobby concept. Please bear with us, as this is not a quick process. In regards to the receptionist we will take immediate training actions to avoid such...

Excellent hotel, with equally good service we stayed in a suite with it's own hideaway kitchen. The room was immaculate, although there wasn't a river view from our room. The staff were very helpful and the use of the hotel car was good as taxi's in Prague can be a complete tourist rip off. Located between the main square and... more

Myself and the missus stayed here in January, very cold weather, but utterly breathtaking city. The hotel is next to Charles Bridge, everything is walking distance. We were met at the airport by a chauffeur who was polite and pleasant. At the hotel we were given lots of information by a lovely smiley receptionist who could not have been more... more

We spent 4 days at the Pachtuv Palace for Easter and had a wonderful time. We had booked our trip through expedia and everything went well from planes, to transfers and accomodations. The hotel is located 3mn walking from the Charles bridge and within walking distance of all the main features you are supposed to see in a few days... more
