Only has two bedrooms, so max 14 people staying there. Staff were always friendly, happy to help booking train travel, bike hire, showing you the best places to go out to eat and drink. Staff were very very helpful! They told us where to go, found a bike hire place for us & Archie even met us at the zoo to give us his family pass so that we could get in for free! It was a small, quiet hostel but I was with friends so it didn't matter. Very good value, clean, tidy... more
I stayed at Archies Hostel for 1 week the end of July. Bathrooms were nasty most of the time, there is no one there unless someone is checking in and then the place is pretty much abandoned. If you run out of toilet paper or need something, tough luck. I stayed in the 6 mixed dorm with just enough room... more
I just returned from a five week tour of Europe, and the Archie Hostel was one of my favorites of the dozen or so hostels I stayed at.
