We found this hotel through Rick Steves guidebook. We were travelling with another couple with a car and the location was excellent. Free secure parking for the car, an easy tram ride into town, quiet location, nicely kept rooms. The restauant on site is very good also. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, especially if... more

My husband and I are returning to Prague after a 2 year absence. During our last visit (November 06) we stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our 6 night stay. I was looking up the hotel to review the rates (the weaker dollar has made everything nore costly) and was surpised at some of the negative reviews. Our large room... more

This intimate hotel was a fabulous surprise, set in it's beautiful grounds close to the Monastery, the rooms of which our group used for breakout sessions. Close to the airport, with easy access by regular cheap trams, or taxis,to the Old Town and central Prague, the ambience is calm and soothing and a wonderful haven after the bustle of the... more

2nd time in Prague , this time travelling with a small group of "mature"people. The hotel is about 30mins from the airport, travelled with Easyjet, excellent flight. Large monastery building, renovated in good grounds with large church beside a small lake and with a great restaurant in situ. Rooms excellent sizes all en suite, bed made daily, fresh towels, unfortunately dusting... more

I stayed here in June 2007, and was expecting big things. My wife and I had visited Brevnov Monastery in late April; the trees were in bloom, and we had a lovely meal at the Klasterni senk restaurant. The Adalbert Hotel was part of the complex (apparently, the monastery rents it to a private company to run), and we thought,... more

Staff were great, the atmosphere is personal and easy, my room was quite and comfortable with a lovely aspect and plenty of light looking out onto leafy trees. There were soft chimes from the monastery bell. Restaurant is 25 metres away in the courtyard and its interior is spacious and beautifully rustic with tasteful detail and serving reasonably priced nutritious... more

We booked direct with the hotel via their website (which has good photos of the location etc.) - and was offered a really good early season rate (cheaper than the standard prices on the website.) We also arranged a direct taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel - all we needed to do was ask, via email, and they... more

My wife and I were looking for a central reasonably priced hotel and selected the Adalbert. It is on the grounds of an old convent and the setting is beautiful. A wonderful church is still on the location. The hotel is located about two miles from the castle on the same street. The rooms are a little spartan but the... more
